Renting a hotel room means you are actually entering into a contract with the hotel. 15 and 16 year olds cannot legally enter into a contract.

If you have money and act 18-21 some places don't ask or care about your age.

Because of their insurance liability, hotels will rarely rent to anyone not of legal age. Some won't even rent to anyone under 21.

The nicer ones usually require a credit card & to be at least 18 if not 21. The only thing I can think of is find someone over 18 who can rent the room for you in their name. Try the Days Inns & Motel 6's. I stayed @ a Days Inn when I was 19.
