What do I do about picking up someone from Bush Airport in Houston?

I have to pick up my fiance from Bush Intercontinental. Hes coming in from Afganistan and i wanna be waiting at the gate when he lands. Is that even possible anymore?? Ive never picked up anyone from the airport so i dont know what i would need to bring or what to do when i get there.

You can't wait at the gate. But you can wait at the bottom of the escalators where he will be picking up his baggage. (Ground floor of the terminal)

No it's not possible. You should see at which terminal is he arriving. I already checked and there are no flights from Afghanistan, so he might be coming from another location.

So check the terminal, and go the terminal arrivals and that's about it.
